The Nokia 6681 is 108.4mm long and 55.2 mm wide. It has a thickness of 21.3 mm and weighs only about 130.5 g. It has an active matrix 262,144 color display with automatic brightness control for display. It also has dedicated keys for voice dialing and commands. It has an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera sensor with 6x digital zoom and slide cover for camera protection and control. It also has an integrated flash with an operating range up to 1.5m and advanced camera modes for still, sequence and video capture. It has options for night, brightness adjustment, white balance settings and color tones. The device also has video and still image editors, as also image and video clip uploading to the Web.

The Nokia XpressPrint printing solution enables you to print digital photos directly from the imaging smartphone. It can transfer photos directly to compatible printer or kiosk via Bluetooth wireless technology or to PictBridge-compliant printer via USB cable. It also has the capability to download and play multimedia files both video and music, and also stream media files from compatible media portals.

The phone has a convenient email client with attachment support jpeg, MP3, excel and .pdf files among others. It is also compatible with Nokia wireless keyboard for faster messaging and can also combine image, video, text and voice clip and send as MMS to a compatible phone or personal computer. It also facilitates multi-slide presentation, automatic resizing of megapixel images to fit MMS supports concatenated SMS, picture messaging, instant messaging and has support for all major languages in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The Nokia 6681 has Nokia PC Suite connectivity with USB and bluetooth wireless technology. It also enables browsing with WAP 2.0 XHTML/HTML multimode browser and has improved web compatibility with support for elements such as image maps and background images. The phone’s other applications include games, Nokia Photo Editor, Quickoffice document viewers, User interface themes and Adobe Reader on the reduced-sized multimedia card and Adobe Photoshop Album Starter edition 2.0 on the CD-ROM.

The Nokia 6681 has 8 MB internal dynamic memory with up to 128 MB reduced size dual voltage expandable memory. It has a talktime up to 3.6 hours and standby time up to 6-11 days.
